Agung, Alfiasari ABSTRAK Permasalahan remaja di perkotaan dan perdesaan di Indonesia saat ini cenderung meningkat tajam dari waktu ke waktu. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, dan dengan didasarkan pada penelitian terdahulu maka penulisan artikel ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui permasalahan perilaku asocial remaja di kota dan desa, karakteristik sekolah dan keluarga, serta pertemanan yang dapat digunakan untuk menyusun kerangka kerja dalam mengatasi perilaku asocial remaja di Kota dan Kabupaten Bogor. Untuk itu Kata kunci: Karakter, perilaku anti sosial, pedesaan dan perkotaan. ABSTRACT Teenager’s delinquency in Indonesia are increasing within last twenty years. Based on that situation, and as resulted from other studies, it is interesting to identify problems among teenagers in urban and rural area of Bogor. This study of year two project was conducted in two schools located respectively in Bogor city and Bogor district, which involved 200 students selected randomly in the study. Result showed that prevalence of anti-social behavior (pornography, gang fighting, game on line, alcohol drinking, drug addiction, smoking and bullying) was found to be higher in urban than in rural area, while boys were tend to be more involved than girls. A Spearman correlation test also showed that anti-social behavior was associated with verbal and non-verbal violence to teenagers, and their relation to peer-group. The stronger their relationship with peers, then the higher the prevalence for anti-social behavior. Based on problems mapping collected through focused group discussion and in-depth interview it is suggested to conduct activities which are : training of trainer for character education, providing and distributing of media to reduce anti-social behavior, implementing character and kindness movement in the pilot project area and surrounding, improving monitoring and evaluation of teenagers and students activities involving all stakeholder and duty bearer in Bogor, and also cooperating with relevant government offices to approaching implementation of Child Friendly city and district in Bogor.
